Obituary for Wayne Veenstra (Veenstra)
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Wayne Veenstra on October 1st 2022 at the age of 58 years old.
Wayne was a loving Husband to Tina Veenstra (nee Markell) for 31 years, and a devoted Father to Ashley Veenstra (Ryan) and Lindsay Veenstra (Brandon). He will be deeply missed by his Grandchildren who brought him so much joy; Kira, Brynlee and Madison. Wayne is survived by his parents John and Barbara Veenstra, as well as his siblings; Linda Tolstoy (Igor), Ed Veenstra, Wendy Selleck (Sheldon), and Kevin Veenstra.
He will also be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Wayne was a dedicated Montreal Canadians hockey team fan and is well known for his comical sense of humour. He was a loyal friend and always there when you needed him.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday October 22nd 2022 for family and friends at the Royal Canadian Legion located at 141 Henry Street West, Prescott from 1pm-4pm.
