Obituary for Roger David Zimmerling
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved brother.
He passed away peacefully at the Age of 68 on April 7th at the Brockville General Hospital.
Roger will be missed by his family and friends; he loved getting together with family & friends, having dinner, and loved his desserts... especially when it was cake!
Predeceased by his parents, Gilbert & Edith Zimmerling, and his two brother-in-laws, George Wetherell & David Levere.
Survived by his sisters, Karen Wetherell & Robyn Levere of Brockville and his three nephews, Jason, Joe Murphy & Brandon Levere, as well as many cousins; as well as his one great friend of 50 + years, Sandra Makepeace of Sherwood Park Manor in Brockville.
Funeral arrangements at a later date. Special 'Thank You' to the staff on the 3rd floor at St. Lawrence Lodge for your many years of support. Also, we wish to thank Developmental Services of Leeds & Grenville, and Brockville & Area Community Living for your years of support, as well. Donations in memory of Roger to DSLG or BACLA will be greatly appreciated.
