Bob passed away unexpectedly after a courageous and hard fought battle with autoimmune encephalitis. Born and raised in Muskoka, Bob moved to Brockville in 1963 with his family.
He will be forever loved and missed by his wife Linda, his children Kristen Sacks (Daniel), Shannon Mann (Dave) and Ryan Jenkinson. His cherished granddaughters Mac Kenzie, Madison and Macyn Sacks will deeply miss their adored Poppa. Bob is also survived by his brother Carl "Chip" McLennan (Lee), sisters Polly Alsemgeest (Marty), Sandy Amyotte (Irv), and Betty Reid (Howard), his sister in law Judith Ann Bakker (Richard Prendergast), and many nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his parents Pauline (Gill) and Carl McLennan and his sister Carole.
Bob was known in the community through his many years at The Camera Centre where he started working in his teens and later owned the business. Cameras and photography were always his passion but he also enjoyed hunting, fishing and his time as a recreational pilot. A very social man, there was nothing he enjoyed more than firing up the grill and entertaining friends and family.
A celebration of life will be held in Brockville in the near future. Donations in Bob's memory can be made to the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
While our hearts are broken, Bob will live on forever in the treasured memories of family and friends.
