Obituary for Bob Bronson
With heavy hearts, the family of Bob Bronson announce his passing on April 3, 2022 at the age of 83.
Sadly missed by wife Betty (Allore) of 64 years. Loving Father of Cathi Matthews (Doug) of Brockville and Rob Bronson (Candy) of Jacksonville, Fl. Cherished Boppy to Jennifer Matthews (Rudi), Craig Matthews (Savannah) and Great Boppy to Avni Matthews Wallace. Brother of Gerry Bronson (Bonnie), Marilyn Pressick and Shirley Carroll. Brother-in-law of Shirley Thompson (Robert deceased), Carol Evans (Bryn deceased), Paul and Sandy Allore, Janice and Rick Gray, and Elaine and Jack Dorey. Uncle Bob to many nieces and nephews.
Bob loved spending time with his family. His patient, kind and genuine nature was a blessing in all that he taught us. Bob was grateful for his many friends and loved helping anyone who needed a hand. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, gardening and playing the piano. He had a special place in his heart for furry friends and looked forward to visits from Clementine and Bamboo. We are hoping he is reunited with Possum for walks.
Bob’s family would like to thank the B.G.H. Palliative Care Team – Doctors, Nurses and PSWs. Keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the B.G.H. Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family. A Remembrance of Bob’s life will be held at a later date.
