It is with the heaviest of hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Maureen Elizabeth Fenlong (nee Dickson), surrounded by family on June 25th, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. Maureen was a loving wife, sister, sister-in-law, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.

Maureen is survived by her husband of 59 years, James Fenlong, her son Troy Fenlong (Amber) and her daughter Jodi Fenlong-Verburg (Dan). Grandmother to Joel Kennedy (Jenny), Trinity Fenlong (Joe), Jordan Fenlong (Becca), and Teagan-Jade Scott. Great-grandmother to Noah Kennedy, Desmond Kennedy, and Wyler Livingstone-Scott.

Also survived by her sister Patricia Young (Cliff), brothers Thomas Dickson (Linda), David Dickson (Kim) and sister-in-law Shirley Kirkland (Glen d.), brother-in-law Howard Fenlong (Betty d.), sister-in-law Brenda Buchanan (Brian d.), and well as multiple nieces and nephews.

Maureen was predeceased by her parents, Delbert and Mildred (nee Kelsey), as well as her brother-in-law, David Fenlong.

As per Maureen's request a private family graveside ceremony will happen at Roselawn Cemetery. A Celebration of Life for Maureen will be held at the Brockville Legion on Saturday, July 16th, from 1-5pm.

Donations in lieu of flowers to The Canadian Cancer Society or to Palliative Care Unit in Brockville will be greatly appreciated.
