The family of Heinz Schmuck announce with sadness his peaceful passing on May 4, 2022 at the St. Lawrence Lodge. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 68 years Hannelore, his three daughters Susan (Rick), Cathy (Francois), Lorraine, and his sister Hildegard (and family in Germany). Family and friends, throughout Canada, Germany and the U.S. know that he lived his best full life with no regrets. He had a passion for travel, photography and most of all music. Throughout his life he entertained thousands of people with his accordion as the "One Man Band". He will be remembered for his faith, his love of music, his many talents, his kind and gentle soul and his love for Hannelore. An inspirational love story, reunited and together until the end.

In lieu of a celebration of life gathering, the family would enjoy receiving an email sharing a memory, favourite photo or experiences to activation@stll.org, with the subject line, "Hannelore Schmuck, Maple unit"

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Heinz Schmucks name to the St. Lawrence Lodge for their music entertainment budget for residents to enjoy. The staff of the St. Lawrence Lodge are held in a very high regard by our family. We thank them for their kind and loving care.

We will miss him dearly, until we meet again, "Auf Wiedersehen".
