Garnet Cecil Johnson died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 2, at the age of 85. He will be remembered by his loving wife, Shirley, his son, Stephen, his daughter Catherine and son Peter, as well as his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Garnet was predeceased by his brother, Allen, and his brother-in-law, Gary. He is survived by Donald, Douglas (Michelle), and sister, Audrey.
Garnet was proud of his long career at Black and Decker, loved fishing and woodworking, supporting his church community and had a gregarious laugh. He will be missed.
Friends are invited to attend the graveside service at Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Saturday, October 21 at 11 am, followed by a Celebration of Life and luncheon in the church hall.
