Donald Wayne Rathwell peacefully entered into rest on May 11th, 2023 in the Palliative Care Unit at the Brockville General Hospital, aged 77 years. Survived by his loving and devoted wife, Margaret, of 39 years. He is also survived by his children; Christopher, Corey, Valerie, and Cynthia. Predeceased by his daughter, Pamela. He will be greatly missed by his six grandchildren; Samantha, Cynthia, Quersten, Richard, Peter, and Bon; as well as 11 great-grandchildren. Don was the son of Harry and Ruby Rathwell, and brother to Allan (d.), Ruth (d.), Verna, Doris, Eileen, Judy (d.), Stephen, and Janet (d.). He is also survived and missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial will be held on May 27th at 3pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2503 Victoria Rd, Brockville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses or JW.org. Special Thanks to the Palliative Care team at Brockville General Hospital for their tender care.
