It is with a heavy heart that we share with you the passing of Brian Preece in his 65th year. After a courageous battle with cancer, he passed away on November 13, 2023, with his friends and family by his side.
Brian was the beloved husband to Cynthia Cullen and a devoted father to Alycia, Cory (Jamaica), Hannah (Jake), Caleb, and Dustin (Shauna). He was the son of the late Joyce Giff (nee Siver) and John William (Jack) Preece, and brother to Judy (Kevin), Beverley, Brenda, Carolin (David), Sherri, and David (Amy).
Brian was a proud and caring grandfather to the late Paige, and to Aiden, Lainey, Charlotte, Clara, Briggs, and Loxley. He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Brian had a lifelong love of motorcycles, snowmobiles, and sports, especially baseball and hockey. He had an easy-going and playful spirit and earned the respect of those whose lives he touched. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His spirit, love of life, and legacy live on in the hearts of so many.
As per Brian's wishes cremation has taken place. A heartfelt thanks to Bayshore Home Healthcare, Care Partners PSW staff and to his caring friends, and brother & sister by heart, Howard and Lori.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 10th, from 11:00 to 4:00 pm at the Smiths Falls Kinsmen Club. Please join us to share fond memories and wild stories to celebrate Brian's life.
