It is with tremendous sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Barbara Beulah Evelyn Brunet (Jones) on March 13th, 2023, peacefully at home in Ottawa, Ontario.

Barbara was born in Hull, Quebec on October 26th, 1939 and was the only child of the late Jeannette Jones (Larche) and Charles Jones. She will be forever mourned by her husband Robert and her daughters Stephanie Henderson (Mark Henderson) and Catherine Brunet (Daniel Moffatt).

She will be remembered as a beautiful woman, inside and out, who consistently cared and worried about everyone else, but herself. She was the most loving, humble, compassionate and understanding woman with a great love for her family and friends, her grand-dogs and of course turtles.

She instilled values of love, patience, and endurance to all she met and she was a true lady. Barbara's remains will be interred at the Hope Cemetery later this spring where a small service will be held for immediate family members.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations are sent to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ottawa Humane Society in her memory.
